Scotty Bramer is a guitarist/composer and healing artist from Los Angeles, CA. Since graduating from USC’s Thornton School of Music in 2011, he has performed, recorded and toured with numerous musicians and artists in SoCal and around the country. When he was 28 years old, he had a non-dual/Kundalini awakening that changed the trajectory of his life - causing him to remember who is truly is and face his shadow for the first time.  Interestingly, this same awakening occurred when he was 16, but having been raised in a secular household the process was misunderstood. He was brought to a psychiatric hospital, wrongly diagnosed with bipolar disorder - and the process was shut down…until a Divine and synchronistic series of events led to a magical reawakening. Since that time, Scotty has healed and transformed tremendously, realizing how music served as a gateway and portal for this awakening journey. Musical/spiritual gifts began to emerge through him, including working with energy on the guitar, and channeling/composing a new style of music that combines a wide range of influences. He created his project “Bodhisattva” in 2020 with the intention of sharing these gifts and expressing his unique story with the world. His new album “Between Two Worlds,” consisting of ten original pieces of music is now available only on physical CD and Bandcamp. Scotty’s music carries a deep soulfulness, expressing an array of emotions and can be both fiery and exciting as well as introspective and heartfelt. As an improviser, Scotty loves to explore the unknown with an adventurous spirit and is often described as “melodic and tasteful.” He strives to convey honesty and vulnerability in his music, openly sharing his heart and his life with the audience.
