EVENT EXPERIENCE

Rooted in the Mexican tradition of Día de los Muertos, Día de la Memoria is an evening of remembrance, movement, connection, and celebration.

Traditionally observed in the first days of November, Día de los Muertos offers a beautiful opportunity to honor those who have passed while keeping their memories alive through story, ritual, food, music, and community. While this gathering is inspired by Mexican tradition and culture, people of all backgrounds are warmly invited to participate and honor the family members, friends, ancestors, or beloved pets they continue to carry with them.

Together, we will create a community ofrenda, share memories of those we are honoring, and move through gentle, intentional yoga and meditation. There will be space for reflection and connection, with opportunities to share without any pressure or expectation to speak.

As the evening unfolds, we will transition from remembrance into celebration through music, free-flow movement and dance, traditional homemade treats, Mexican-inspired beverages, and other goodies to enjoy together.

Guests are invited to bring a photo of a loved one they would like to honor and, if desired, a small meaningful item or offering to place on the community ofrenda.

All backgrounds, traditions, and experiences with grief and remembrance are welcome.
