A practical and theoretical workshop series in the art of Traditional Thai Yoga Massage. This 108 step series is the most ancient sequence of bodywork known still today. Created over 2500 years ago by Siddhartha’s Doctor Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha (Shivago Kompara) to prepare Buddha for his journey towards enlightenment.

Thai Yoga Massage is an easy to learn combination of assisted stretches, joint mobilization, massage techniques, activating pressure points and clearing energy lines (meridians).
A practical and theoretical workshop series in the art of Traditional Thai Yoga Massage.
In this course you will learn the original Thai Massage sequence of 108 postures, created by the founder of Thai Yoga Massage.
Students will gain a deep knowledge, experience, and practice and know how to give a full body Thai Massage treatment.
Each lesson begins with a lecture and demonstration, followed by supervised practice.
The four foundations of Thai Massage: (awareness, body mechanics, movement, and massage techniques using hands, knees, feet, and elbows)
Effortless transitions between postures.
An introduction to contraindications and safety.
Care for the client and therapist before, during, and after the massage.
After completing the course, the student will be asked to practice 30 case studies on at least 5 different people, and to return for a final practical examination.
Following the series, all students will have access to Bhavani for any further instruction needed.
Total of 24 hours
4 Sessions are done in 6 hour segments

After completing the course, the student will be asked to practice 30 TM Sessions on 5 different people and perform a final practical examination.
Following the series all students will have access to Bhavani for advanced studies and receive a certificate of completion.
All participants are fully clothed and no oils are used.
This training is registered under Yoga Alliance as a Continuing Education Course under Bhavani Hope.
YA Registered teachers will receive:
18 contact hours in Techniques, Training and Practice.
45 Non Contact hours in Techniques, Training and Practice.
6 contact hours in Anatomy and Physiology.
