ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Learn the ancient art of Macramé! Though this special art of decorative knot-tying is mostly attributed to Arabic weavers in the 13th century, it also can be traced back to 3rd century China being used for ceremonial textiles and wall hangings. Learn how to create your very own plant hanger with us on Earth Day 2023!
This workshop is great for beginners and newbies. It provides a nurturing and supportive environment for anyone wanting to learn the foundational knots and techniques of Macramé and how to create your own beautiful pieces of art.
With the recent welcoming of Spring it is the perfect opportunity to plant a new seed and creatively weave your intentions into a beautiful Macramé Plant Hanger for your home or office space.
All materials are provided (macramé cord + ceiling hook) and all attendees will receive a printed knotting guidebook to ensure they remember the techniques used in the workshop, plus a mini sourcing guide for future Macramé projects. This workshop is always a lot of fun, very rewarding, and everyone will go home with a completed plant hanger made with their own two hands.
