WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE

Please join MeLisa Moore of Rise + Shine Wellness and Coaching for heart-mind and contemplative focused community discussion, facilitated deep dive conversations, and self-compassion practice connected to inter-racial relating, spirit based racial healing, + becoming a practitioner of embodied racial equity. Something for EVERYONE!

 

Please bring your open heart and mind, comfortable clothing, snacks if needed, water, something to write with, and journal (if you do that sort of thing). 

 

Cost is $20-40 sliding scale donation.

ABOUT MELISA

MeLisa is a union of multi-disciplinary artist/designer, spiritual scientist + healer, and holistic child development specialist. She has had in-depth practice and study (US, Canada, India) with integrative and holistic frameworks. The foundations being rooted in 22 years of Tibetan Buddhist Psychology/Practice/Study, Mindfulness-Awareness + Meditation, Trauma/PTSD/CPTSD/Codependency Recovery + Survivorship, Traditional Peruvian Shamanism, Energy Healing + Reiki, Transpersonal Psychology, K-12 Education + Curriculum/Framework Development, Racial Equity/Diversity/Inclusion Coaching + Consulting, Organizational Development + Healthy Teaming, Relationship Healing + Restorative Conflict Resolution, and Neurobiology/Learning “Disabilities”/Neurodiversity.

 

Some of her main Tibetan teachers are Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Current Root teacher: Venerable Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche, and Bon Master;Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, along with receiving in-depth retreat and teachings from numerous other Tibetan Buddhist Masters in India and US, including H.H Dalai Lama and H.H 17th Karmapa. She has been a practitioner and received Yogic empowerments/practices from Nyingma and Kagyu Tibetan Buddhist traditions and has been a practitioner of Ashtanga and Kundalini Yoga in Vedic tradition. She is also trained in Reiki 1 +2 with Varsha and Ravi Hooja in (Mumbai, India). Peruvian Pachakuti Mesa Shamanic Tradition with Don Oscar Miro Quesada, don Celso Rojas Palomino from Salas, and don Benito Corihuamán Vargas from the village of Wasao. Her journey started with a  B. A. in Biology and 15 years of being an integrated Science/Math teacher, Maker educator, and working intensively with Diverse Learners ("gifted", ADHD, Autism, high Behavior-Social Emotional needs)

 

She loves to support people in going deep/deeper with Integrative Spiritual Healing, with a specialty in Intuitive + Creative Development, Energy Work, Shadow Work, Nature of Mind + Mindfulness and Meditation. Her passion and expertise is also focused on Inter-racial Relationship Healing + Development, Racial Healing/Racial Trauma, what she calls Embodied Racial Equity + Authentic Unity. She is motivated by human evolution, cultivating and co-creating conscious communities of care, and being of service to others who desire to move on the path to wholeness, authenticity, expanding and transmuting the ego into authentic personal power and purpose, self-compassion, and self-love. Her #1 purpose work is to support the growth, learning, and development of kids + teens. Over the past 7 years, she has developed innovative holistic frameworks that are at the beginning stages of being integrated into K-12 schools.
