Tribal Fusion Belly Dancing
Belly Dancing Class with Amber Ray. Description Coming Soon!
Vinyasa (flow) class with inversions, balancing and strengthening poses included. Prepare to sweat, stretch and release to clear the mind and open the heart. All levels class designed as a workout and ultimately a work within to achieve the highest vibration.
The term vinyasa is derived from the Sanskrit nyasa, which means “to place,” and the prefix vi, “ in a special way.” The vinyasa is meant to place in a special way by using the breath to movement synchronizing one posture (pose) to the next. So the Vinyasa Flow thus suggests a practice in which we consciously place the body-breath-mind in the constant flow of space and time. The Vinyasa Flow yoga generates heat, and there can be practiced in a vigorous, dynamic and stimulating manner, soft and gentle, and restorative practice by using ujjayi breath. Ujjayi breath is the breathing technique used and it’s done by inhaling and exhaling in a rhythm manner through the nose. The Vinyasa Flow can also be applied to many levels of an individual practitioner, and practiced with many variations of choices to honor where one is at and/or challenge oneself of limitations of the possibilities through the practice. Perhaps the Vinyasa Flow is one of the most attractive forms of yoga practice today, variously resonating with the spirit, intentions, and life experiences of different teachers and students. Hence, the vinyasa method includes assessing the needs of the individual practitioner or group, and then builds a complementary practice to meet those needs. The vinyasa also can be practiced and emphasized as an artful approach to living, a way of applying the skill and awareness of yoga to all rhythms and sequences of life, including self-care, relationships, work, personal evolution, social interaction, and so forth.
A level 2/3 class that focusses on cultivating strength, flexibility and balance. It is a flow class so expect to move,
sweat and breathe as you develop the warrior within.

Yin & Yoga Nidra
An evening class with Nikki Niestemski. Get ready to rest, stretch and decompress! This restorative practice will start with some yin style poses to help release tension in the muscular system as well as dive even deeper into the fascia, which can only be targeted when we hold poses for longer periods of time. The intention for this practice is to SLOW, so that we may shift into the parasympathetic nervous system and ultimately learn how to chill out! We will use the body to connect to the breath, the breath to connect to the mind, and the mind to connect back to Source. The final 20 minutes will be a Yoga Nidra practice. Yoga Nidra is the scientific practice of skillfully and intentionally producing various brainwave patterns to leverage the full spectrum of consciousness, both as it works through the mind and how it exists beyond it. Nidra means sleep, the mind will sleep, the body will sleep, but awareness remains awake for the entirety of the practice. This 30 minute class can have the same effects as 1-2 hours of sleep, it’s like nap time for adults but way better! The practice is done in a dark room, or with a light cloth over the eyes while laying in savasana as the teacher vocally cues the entire practice. This ancient technique is extremely healing, restorative and soothing on the nervous system. The perfect remedy for troubled sleepers, travelers or anyone working in high stress environments.
This class is a blend of yin and a gentle flow. We have opportunities to connect to stillness in between moments of movement. Some poses will be long held with support from different props, such as blocks or blankets, while other times we may be more active and get some warmth going.
