Some of our scheduled studio yoga classes have unique names which can sometimes make it a challenge to anticipate the experience. Below you'll find detailed descriptions so you can better understand the overall intention and approach for each class.

BEAUTI F L O W YOGA

BeautiFLOW Yoga is an all-levels yoga class. The class starts slowly to help orient one to one's body, and works up to a vinyasa flow to encourage deep breathing and full expression in postures. It is within this flow that Mary encourages yogis to be truly authentic and creative within their postures and transitions, to create their own beautiFLOW. Sun salutations and balancing poses are no stranger to this class, allowing us to help us fan that internal fire and cultivate a rejuvenating somatic release.

BREATHE HERE NOW: A BREATH WORK JOURNEY

This is a powerful Breathwork class ~ a mind, body, and soul activation. This class will take you through a journey beyond the limitations of your Self and awaken you to your Divine Essence. You will be safely guided to breathe through suppressed emotions, limiting beliefs, stressors, and energetic blockages that prevent you from showing up fully in the world. You’ll feel grounded, deeply connected, and liberated when completed. If you find it difficult to find stillness in meditation, this technique will help you reach a state of bliss...and so much more, from the power of your own breath.

BHAKTI-BASED HATHA YOGA

Yoga of Devotion (Wednesdays)

Yoga of devotion is a bhakti-based hatha yoga practice. This class utilizes movement, mantra meditation and sound healing to cultivate Soul-to-Source awareness and consciousness. Bhakti yoga is the path of devotion. In this class devotion is enacted and experienced through movement of the body beyond surface physical fitness. The movement draws from the Hatha yoga tradition. When the intention and consciousness during movement is focused on Source, movement becomes a way to help focus the mind and the health benefits is a natural byproduct of the movement. Nevertheless, the movement helps to release stress, build strength and flexibility etc., and all the benefits that come with consistent asana practice. The sequence of movement isn't strict or rigid. It is collaborative in that you could follow the sequence as laid out by the teacher or you can add or subtract what you need to in order to make it unique to your body. You could sit in meditation or rest in savasana part of or the whole entire time. In this class you are encouraged to trust your intuition and knowledge of your body and do the movement  and poses that you feel you need. It takes us back to the original purpose of asana practice so that one can sit in meditation. In this class the focus of meditation is Divinity in the name and form that one personally resonates with and not one specific Source. Everyone is encouraged to invoke in their mind and heart their Source as they believe and experience it. The music and sound instruments (kirtan, harmonium, sound bowls, rain-stick etc..) are all used to keep the mind focused. There is much that can be said about this class, however the experience is the true testament of its uniqueness and value. Hope to see you soon.

 

Yoga of Gratitude (Fridays)

Yoga of devotion is a bhakti-based hatha yoga practice. The focus of this class is cultivating a deep sense of gratitude. Gratitude can have different focus for different people. You can be grateful for your breath, your heartbeat, your body systems, your bank account, your family, your Source, for nature, for the world. The practice is used to cultivate the mood, the energy, the awareness of being grateful, appreciative and thankful. Bhakti yoga is the path of devotion. Gratitude is the essence of devotion. DIVINE FLOW YOGA

A gentle practice for all levels. Connecting our spirit and body in practice through breath. A subtle study of pranayama and the yoga within us, exploring the expansion that is available to us within ourselves as individuals as part of a whole

EFT TAPPING & REIKI

A weekly energy reset to release old emotions/ energies & restore vitality. Come set the tone for your week with Jas. In this class you will be guided to use a subconscious reprogramming technique called EFT (tapping) to help you release resistance and create new neural pathways for your desires to manifest. You will also be guided through a group reiki session to help raise your vibration, remove any additional energies & emotions, reduce stress and empower your goals. This is the perfect way to set your week up for success.

EMPOWERED SOUL YOGA

Dharma leads an empowering vinyasa based class that will awaken and empower your inner strength, your Shakti. With a spiritually based and soul connecting teaching style, Dharma brings in her many skills to create MUCH MORE than just a physical asana class. Dharma brings through the classical teachings of Patanjali in her classes, the skill of cultivating one pointed focus, elevating the mind, connecting to the heart, unifying breath, body and spirit. Her aim is to awaken you to a deep sense of awareness of your inherent greatness and the divine energy that is naturally ingrained within you, anchoring you in your SPIRIT SELF, your true self, that LIFE WARRIOR that you are! Using mantras, mudras, Kirtan, affirmations and her innate ability to bring a potent style of empowerment coaching, you will leave feeling courageous, confident, and ready to show up to your life with much more confidence, enthusiasm and optimism for yourself and your future! The class is geared to be accessible for all levels, with lots of modifications to make things less or more challenging depending on what you need. 

GENTLE GROUNDING FLOW

Slow down, breath, & ease into your practice. During our flow we will work towards deepening our connection to our breath, our bodies, & our heart center. Giving ourselves some time to step away from our busy lives, & space to cultivate calmness, stillness & well being.

GENTLE & SOOTHING YOGA

Usher in a restful night’s sleep with this sweet, slow, soulful and very healing practice appropriate for all regardless of yoga experience.  Prepare to gently close your eyes, turn inward and take a beautiful, breath-filled journey into evening as you stretch, relax and let the chill tunes tickle your eardrums. Practice ends with a Savasana sound bath.

GOLDEN HOUR FLOW

Unwind and rejuvenate. This class offers a serene and mindful flow to ease your day's tensions and welcome the evening's tranquility. All levels are welcome.

GROUND & RESTORE

This is a gentle & restorative yoga practice that is great for those who have a particularly activated (anxiety) or underactivated (depressed) nervous system. During this class we will do yoga postures and breathing exercises that will connect you back to the Earth and the present moment—something that so many of us need during these rapid times of technological, political, and environmental change. This class will have a slower, restorative approach.

GROUND, BALANCE & FLOW

HATHA YOGA

This class is set at a slow to moderate pace with a mixture of stretch and strength that are designed to keep the body in a place of balance. Emphasis will be placed on mindfulness breath based movement and alignment. The practice will always be tailored to fit the needs of the students. Open to all levels.

INTENTIONAL MOVEMENT

Our focus will be centered around the breath, which will allow us to activate and connect to the body and mind. We will be guided through breathing patterns linked to static and dynamic movement along with methods of creating space between the thoughts and stories constantly flooding our minds. Our slow and conscious pace will create heat and build strength within the body. Through this moving mediation we will work to center and anchor our minds to the present moment with the ultimate goal of tapping into our true Self. Restorative, vinyasa, and power flows will be incorporated to activate the dormant regions within the body while releasing tension in the regions that have become overstimulated. The breathing, concentration, and movement could be practiced at any level with an open mind.

KUNDALINI YOGA & ASTROLOGY

Tantric weave of classic and contemporary kundalini yoga, breath work and meditation to attune our frequency to emergent cosmic cycles. 

LET GO & FLOW

A grounding and re-energizing practice appropriate for all regardless of experience. Disconnect from the over-thinking and drama as you cultivate a calm, centered connection to breath and inward focus while flowing gently through slow, stretchy asana. With steady practice you will increase flexibility, develop physical strength and cultivate a balanced connection between the mind, body and soul.

MORNING YIN YOGA

Start your Friday with this beautiful mindful stillness practice. Yin is the counterpart to our Yang practices. Yin helps the fascial system release through long holds in supported poses; creating cleansing, release, healing and strengthening in the ligaments, joints, and bones. 

PEACEFUL MIND FLOW

This class is a vinyasa style flow for students of all levels and incorporates both yin and yang elements for balancing energy, flexibility, and calming the nervous system. 

SHAKTI VINYASA YOGA

SLOW VINYASA FLOW

Join Carli for a nourishing practice that offers a space for disconnecting from the busy-ness of life, dropping into a meditative "flow" state, all while re-energizing the mind, body and spirit. This practice is appropriate for all students regardless of experience, offering modifications and variations of asanas (poses) which allow all students to meet themselves where they are at. With consistent practice, students will increase flexibility, build confidence and physical strength, and cultivate a more balanced lifestyle. Each class begins with a short meditation, includes breathwork and mindful movement, and ends with a gentle sound bath.

SOMATIC YOGA EXPERIENCE

Discover the power of somatic healing techniques to release tension, restore balance, and promote overall well-being. Through a combination of movement, breathwork, and mindfulness practices, you'll learn to reconnect with your body and tap into its innate wisdom. 

SOULSONIC ASANAS & VIBES

80 minutes of awesome. Deep beats, and deeper breaths paired with a sweet slow flow, to help you reconnect to the rhythm of your soul, and the magic of your movement. Handcrafted playlists, and asana sequences to help you open up and let the music take your mind, so you can surrender to the flow. All levels, all love, from his heart for yours.

SOL FLOW

Sol flow is a Hatha yoga practice set to some favorite heartfelt and heart moving songs of the past and present.  Lisa likes to call the flow Yin(stillness)/Yasa(heat building) as we begin with deep grounding stretches and build lots of heat through vinyasa flows, then end with heart centered affirmations.  This class is aimed to assist with calming the nervous system allowing the body to prepare for a peaceful rest.  All levels are welcome and using props are encouraged.

STRETCH OUT STRESS

Stretch Out Stress is an all-levels yoga class.  This class will help you get deep into your stretches with some gentle strengthening exercises.  The class is slow paced, set to peaceful music, and is intended to help you unwind, release tension and be prepared to start the work week with a healthy body, mind and spirit. 

SUNRISE HATHA YOGA

This all-levels Sunrise Hatha Yoga Flow is designed to meet you where you’re at. With an emphasis on pranayama and meditation, this practice honors the sacred joy of rising with the sun and intuitively prepares the mind and body for heat-building sequences. Listening to our bodies helps us find balance between ease and effort, which cultivates a sense of inner-confidence on and off the mat. You are invited to come as you are and leave with this renewed sense of coherence as you begin your day!

SWEET SOULFUL SUNDAY

We will build through gentle meditation into a full, expansive, expressive Hatha-style yoga sequence. I will guide you through self-love affirmations, re-connecting with the Anahata (heart) chakra. This practice will encourage deeper awareness through intentional breathing and intentional movement. We will give rise to more love and compassion by meeting ourselves exactly where we are at in the bodies we arrived in. I look forward to elevating our minds together, raising our vibrations together, and cultivating a safe space for you to practice in. I believe yoga is designed for everyone, so come roll out your mat with me! 

WAKE UP WARRIOR

Wake Up Warrior is an invigorating hatha/vinyasa class for all levels. A great start to the midweek. Be prepared to sweat, focus, stretch and relax.

Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative, and stretchy class. We hold simple poses for longer periods of time. The practice is based on Meridian Theory, similar to Chinese Acupuncture. Mindfulness and loving kindness is practiced throughout. Increases range of motion, settles the mind, and opens the heart.

YIN YOGA & MINDFULNESS MEDITATION

The class begins with Yin Yoga which is a slow, meditative, and stretchy type of yoga. We hold simple poses for longer periods of time. The practice is based on Meridian Theory, similar to Chinese Acupuncture. Mindfulness and loving kindness is practiced throughout. Increases range of motion, settles the mind, and opens the heart. After 60 minutes of guided Yin Yoga, we begin to sit for a 30 minute guided Mindfulness Meditation.

VINYASA YOGA FLOW

This yoga class invites people of all body-types, backgrounds, & yoga experience to arrive on their mats and move the body in ways that simply feel good. Meryll focuses on meeting people where they are at by offering variations to her flows and weaving Ayurveda principles of self-care into her yoga classes.
